Who we are

Nyatva, a sole proprietorship of Gadde Arvind ("Nyatva", "we", "us") operates https://nyatva.com. We are the Data Fiduciary under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 ("DPDP Act") and the Controller under the EU General Data Protection Regulation ("GDPR") for the personal data described here.

Exactly what we collect

This is the complete list. We do not collect anything else, and we do not buy or receive personal data about you from third parties.

We do not collect sensitive or special-category data — no health, biometric, financial, government-ID, religious, political or sexual-orientation data. Please do not send any of it through the contact form.

Our legal basis

• Your consent — for the newsletter and for analytics cookies. You give it by a separate, unticked action, and you can withdraw it at any time.
• Performing a contract, or steps toward one — for replying to an inquiry you sent us.
• Legitimate interests — for rate limiting and spam prevention, which is why we log an IP address on form submission.

We do not sell your personal data, we do not share it for anyone else's marketing, and we do not use it for automated decision-making or profiling.

How long we keep it

Different data serves different purposes, so it has different retention periods.

• Inquiry records — 24 months from your last contact with us, then deleted. If we become your service provider, the related records move under our contractual and tax-record obligations instead.
• IP address and browser user-agent — 90 days, then permanently erased from the inquiry record. These exist only to stop abuse, so they do not need the longer period.
• Newsletter subscription — until you unsubscribe. We keep a record that you unsubscribed so we do not email you again by mistake.

Who else processes it

We use the service providers below. Each one processes data only on our instructions, under a signed data processing agreement, and none of them may use your data for their own purposes.

Transfers outside India

All of the providers above process data in the United States, so your data is transferred there. The DPDP Act permits transfers except to countries the Central Government restricts by notification; the United States is not restricted. For data protected by the GDPR, each transfer is covered by the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses, and several providers additionally self-certify under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.

Your rights

Under the DPDP Act and the GDPR you can ask us to do any of the following, free of charge:

• Tell you what personal data of yours we hold, and who we shared it with
• Correct or complete anything inaccurate
• Erase your data
• Withdraw a consent you previously gave
• Receive your data in a portable format, or object to our processing (GDPR)
• Nominate another person to exercise these rights on your behalf if you die or become incapacitated (DPDP Act)

If we do not resolve your complaint, you may escalate it to the Data Protection Board of India, or — if you are in the EEA or UK — to your national data protection authority.

Security

Every write to our database passes through a server-only route that validates input and rate-limits it first; there is no browser-side database access. Data is encrypted in transit and at rest by our providers. No system is perfectly secure, so if a breach affecting your personal data occurs, we will notify the Data Protection Board of India and affected individuals as the DPDP Act requires.

Cookies

We set no analytics or advertising cookies until you accept them. Details are in our Cookie Policy.

Children

Our services are for businesses. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has sent us data, email privacy@nyatva.com and we will erase it.

Changes to this policy

If we change how we handle your data, we will update this page and the "Last updated" date above. For material changes affecting a consent you gave, we will ask again rather than assume.
